Department of Business Studies

Degree Programmes

The Department of Business Studies currently offers three Bachelor degree programmes and one Master programme.

 

• BA in Business Administration
• BA in International Management
• BA in Communication and Multimedia Management
• MA in Communication, Multimedia and Market Management

 

A second MA programme “Finance, Auditing and Taxation” is currently being developped and due to start in the winter semester 2008/2009.

 

In addition, we also offer the two final years of the Diplom degree programmes "International Business Studies" and "Business Studies". No new students are being admitted to the Diplom degree programmes, and the courses of the first two years are no longer offered.

While the programmes are conducted in German, some seminars are held in English. They have been brought together in our brochure

Credit Points under the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS)

The Diplom degree programmes do not carry ECTS credit points. All the BA and MA programmes have been awarded ECTS credit points. These are listed in the course structure schedules for each programme.

 

 

Accreditation

The Bachelor and Master programmes are accredited by FIBAA, the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation. FIBAA accredits Bachelor, Master’s and, since 2003, “Diplom” courses in fields such as business administration, economics, business computing, engineering and business administration, business psychology, business law, etc. in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
